SGSS Advisory Board Meeting 16-08-2025
The meeting
The meeting started with a short introduction of the agenda, reading the Holy Bible and prayer by Ms. Anita Haroon.
Ms. Shazia Ijaz welcomed the distinguished guests.
The members gave an small introduction.
Ms. Shazia presented the journey of SIF to SGSS.
Aroosh Zulfquar further gave a motivational speech (Topic: Importance and Education and Youth).
The board members provided their feedback, gave suggestions and had broad discussions.
Valuable key points
Sir James Lal mentioned that hiring highly qualified and trained Staff is very important to provide high standard education. Secondly, he advised to organize youth awareness seminars as well.
Pastor Akash Emmanuel suggested to focus on speaking of English at school, specifically during lessons and hiring highly qualified staff with ability to speak good English so that they can help students as well to learn English.
Mr. Amjad Pervaiz appreciated the passion for the work he has found in Ms. Shazia.
Mr. Farukh Paul mentioned the problem of facing discrimination the Christian community has to face at school and at work. In this situation SGSS is a great opportunity for Christian children.
Mr. Johnson promised to give his full support to SGSS.
Ms. Shazia Ijaz shared the future plans and vision of SGSS to open more branches, focusing Christian areas and villages.
Mr. Sheraz Munawar promised to give some financial support to the foundation to open a new branch in Khushal Town.
All board members pledged their support for this noble cause to the extent of their capacity.
The meeting concluded with dinner and further discussions, during which attendance was taken by all board members.
The next board meeting is expected to be held within the upcoming six months.
